I’m currently house sitting. I get home from work and decide to take the parent’s Ridgeline for a quick trip to the store for dinner stuffs. Then this happens...

The EPS warning is just one of many messages that were popping up on screen:

Kinja'd!!!

Every vehicle I’ve been behind the wheel of since Friday have developed new problems. My Audi has developed a misfire, my Infiniti has a bad camshaft position sensor (hopefully) and now the parent’s Ridgeline is on the fritz.

WTF

It’s a Honda. It shouldn’t be acting like that.

Can you drive my sister’s car? She has a Prius and she hates it too.

That could be arranged. We’ll need to find some empty parking lots with ample room to tray slide.

What does the top one on the right mean? You also appear to have a light telling you that you got in a crash.

Top right light is the road departure system malfunction light.

That other one does infact relate to a car crash, as it is the “Collision Mitigation Braking System” malfunction light.

There are times I think new cars are getting too complicated for their own good, despite how much I still love many of them...

Agreed. I bet it is one module or data feed that has taken down the whole deal.

So you basically figured out how to kill all the nannies.

That gauge cluster looks disturbingly small and cheap for such an expensive and large new vehicle.

Some of that is the fisheye effect of my phone’s camera. Although, the center screen could be bigger.

The rest of the interior is actually quite nice, but at the end of the day it is still a Honda.

That's actually not a bad thing for a truck.

Sucks when something brand new has issues. But honestly, as someone in the testing industry, it’s to be expected. Companies try to test it all out before it gets to customers but it’s practically impossible to do so.
